Technical Test Consultant

£33,000 – £55,000 depending on experience, plus bonus

About the company

Infuse is a UK software testing company that provides modern software testing, transformation consulting and test environment management. We specialise in test automation and performance engineering.

Our strong alliance and partner network enables us to deliver the right solution for every client. Infuse is an HP Enterprise Gold Partner in ADM, an Oracle Gold Partner in AQM, a CA Partner in Dev and Test and SAP Partner. We have a global partner network to enhance our delivery capabilities beyond that of a typical UK software testing company.

About the role

Based on our clients’ sites, you’ll have the opportunity get involved with a variety of exciting organisations, processes and tools in a technical capacity.  Your focus will be on utilising test tools to build test automation frameworks, code test components, structure test automation and work with our technical architects to build and deliver working, industrial test automation. You’ll need to support wider testing initiatives, such as manual testing, but also support other areas where a strong coding background is required.

About you

You’ll have a passion for technology and using software development tools to support testing. Coupled to this you will have good experience in creating test plans, test cases and test results documents. You’ll have experience using UFT or Selenium, within a professional services environment and of working within different Software Development Lifecycles (ideally including Agile).  You’ll need to be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of test automation, including structuring tests, working with automation frameworks and coding skills (ideally Ruby and/or VBScript). As a minimum, you’ll hold the ISTQB Foundation Certification, whilst HPE certifications are highly desirable.

We are looking for people with a consultative approach to clients, so you’ll need to demonstrate strong communication and influencing skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively within a small team.

You must be eligible to work in the UK and Europe.  Due to the nature of our business, whilst we endeavour to place our people in their home region this isn’t always possible and therefore, you must be willing to work throughout the country and possibly within Europe for extended periods.
